Modular SolutionsPioneer's Modular Solutions receivers are designed for applications, often newer vehicles, with limited depth behind the dash that prohibits the installation of a traditional 1DIN or 2DIN receiver. This installation flexibility is achieved by physically separating the LCD touchscreen display from the sub-chassis that contains the CPU, control system, terrestrial radio tuner, amplifier and input/output connections. This allows the sub-chassis to be mounted in a different location* or different horizontal/vertical orientation within the vehicle.

Vozsis with Amazon AlexaVozsis is a smartphone app available for both iOS and Android OS devices that brings Amazon Alexa capability to compatible Weblink-enabled Pioneer multimedia in-dash receivers. Downloading both the Vozsis and Weblink applications makes using Alexa in your car simple " just tap-and-ask, and Alexa will respond instantly. With Alexa, you can ask to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices 1 , and more. Apple CarPlay The DMH-C2550NEX features Apple CarPlay , the smarter, safer and more fun way to use your iPhone in the car. Apple CarPlay gives iPhone users an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, use Maps, listen to music, and verbally send and listen to messages with just a word or a touch. Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer with the latest version of iOS.

Android AutoThe DMH-C2550NEX also features Android Auto, which extends the Android platform into the car in a way that's purpose-built for driving. Android Auto automatically brings you useful information and organizes it into simple cards that appear just when they're needed. It's designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
Android Auto is compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. Android Auto may not be available on all devices.
Hands-Free Calling and Audio Streaming Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in Bluetooth (HFP). Easily pair a Bluetooth enabled phone to the DMH-C2550NEX without having to go through complicated settings. When a registered Bluetooth device is in proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.
From hands-free calling, wireless audio streaming (A2DP) with artist, album, and song search*, simple pairing, and control audio (AVRCP profile), Bluetooth wireless technology has made life in the vehicle much more convenient.
The DMH-C2550NEX with Bluetooth also includes superior call quality reception using Wideband Speech Handsfree Profile 1.6. Wideband Speech nearly doubles the bandwidth of frequencies of a normal Bluetooth call (when compared to calls without Wideband Speech)**.
